Happy New Year!

So before I get started on all the exciting things ahead for this next year I figured I should try and do a highlights of 2010! 2010 was an AWESOME year with lots of great times! So here we go on the best of 2010! I think the easiest way to update is a month by month play by play!

January: We celebrated Nat's 21st, went to the liberty bowl, and I started an internship with AAO.
February: Threw a surprise party for Sgibsy, came home for Mom's birthday, started the extreme countdown for my birthday. (I'm starting to see a trend that my friends and I love birthdays)

March: I turned 21! We continued my birthday with a week of celebrating in Panama City.
April: I went to Dallas with PRSSA and got to go to a Rangers game, went to the races with the fam, and we had formal unknown!

Summer (May, June, & July): Finished up my junior year, went back to Conway to work at CVCC for the summer, went on vacation to Florida, moved into a house in Fayetteville with my faveies.
August: Time to move back to Fayetteville, had a fantastic time on rush team and ended up with a new pledge class of 104, started my SENIOR YEAR

September: School is back in full force, time for Yippie Chi O ( one of my favorite functions), football & tailgating season started.

October: Owl-O-Ween and football pretty much sum up this month.
November: Finished up football season (except for the Sugar Bowl!), went camping for the first (and more than likely last/only) time, lots of girls nights outs.

December: One of my favorite months of the year consisted of lots of Christmas-ness with family and friends and an amazing internship opportunity with a PR firm in Fayetteville which I can't wait to start in January.

I think its a safe bet to say 2010 was my best year yet!

Happy Fall Y'all!

So I can't think of anything more fall than pumpkin carving. This week the boys went and bought the supplies and us girls went over on Tuesday for a little friendly competition. I love carving pumpkins its so much fun. I'm still holding strong to the idea that mine & Dan's was the winner. We carved HOGS into ours, well on the first try we actually carved HUGS but we got that little problem fixed. Here's some pics from the night! Oh, and my happy moment for today was my besties winning their flag football game and being named CHAMPIONS! How exciting, plus the whole game I got to hang out with Britt and Schuett!

Going to the Big D & I DO Mean Dallas!

Hey bloggy friends! Wooo Pig Sooie! I think it can be said by all that this weekend was a huge success, the hogs won and Dallas was amazing. To be technical we stayed with Chan's dad in Fort Worth for the weekend, which was so great. We went and met up with him at Joe T. Garcias' once we made it into Fort Worth around 7 on Friday night. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was equally awesome. We went out on Friday night to PR's a country western place in Fort Worth and did a little two-stepping which was so FUN! One of Sammy's friends, Eric, is a great dancer and he would just spin all of us girls around the dance floor all night. Saturday morning we woke up and rolled out to tailgate with Chan and Nat's families before the game. The boys grilled and we played a little ladder golf before heading over to the space dome aka Texas Stadium. Wow! If nothing else go to a game there to see the stadium, it is HUGE. Actually, huge doesn't even do it justice, the place is enormous. The hogs managed to pull out another win! Saturday night we went out to the stockyards in Fort Worth to another western place to do a little more dancing, so much fun! This morning we rolled back into Fayetteville nice and early, I have to admit as much fun as the trip was its so nice to be back in Fayetteville. This week shouldn't be too bad as far as school goes and I'm already for the weekend to head back to Cway with Kara. My happy moment for the day was the mini-marathon of 48 Hours Hard Evidence that Kat & I watched this afternoon. It was a nice, lazy afternoon after a jam packed weekend. Night, night peeps!

Where I've Been & Where I'm Going...

Hey Bloggy friends!! So its been a while since an update, whoops. So what have I been up to the past month. Well let's see, I have been LOVING life. I seriously could not imagine a better school schedule. I love, love, love my classes. And in terms of how I'm spending my free time I have discovered I really love spin classes at Clubhaus and I've also rediscovered how much fun it is to hang out with my friends and not spend every waking moment studying or at a group meeting. Oh and did I mention how much I love football season, because I do. Pretty much life is great currently. I'm working on remembering that everyday in the moments that seem less than ideal. I have such a blessed life and I feel as if I have not been appreciative of that near as much as I should be so that has been my goal lately, I have been trying to see God's blessings in my life a little more each day. I definitely still struggle with it but I'm really trying to stop and notice the little things that I usually let pass me by without saying thanks for.

So as far as where I've been let's see...

I've been Two Steppin' at Yippie Chi O, Dylan and I had a repeat of sophomore year and had a blast.

I've been getting in touch with my inner jersey girl with the besties at The Shore function

I've been calling those Hogs in Fayetteville & Little Rock

& Now Where I'm Going....

This Weekend we are headed to

That's right the crew is loading up and we are headed to Dallas to do what we do best and CALL THOSE HOGS!! Wooo Pig Sooie!!
Well, I guess I'll wrap up this post. My happy moment for today was getting mail from my mom and grandma. I love getting mail and the card from my mom had the coolest quote that I'll have to post on here some other time :) Night night bloggy friends!
