- In something around 12 weeks I graduate college.
- In a month I will be floating around the ocean on a cruise with some of my favorite people.
- In less than six months my former roomie/bestie will walk down the aisle and change her last name, being my first friend to do this.
- I really should be working on my assignment that I need to email in tonight.
- Instead of working on said assignment I'm writing this blog and watching the Parent Trap.
- Last night we got to go underwater and use our tanks for scuba, it was AMAZING.
- I have never had less of a clue as to what my future is going to look like, today is a day where I'm really just having faith that God has a plan, because I sure as heck don't.
- I'm really liking my internship still, which is a huge positive because if I didn't I would have to seriously reconsider if I had majored in the right thing.
- I'm super excited for Mom's Day next weekend.
- I feel like I think about me way too much (see above points, all of them use the word I).
- I'm starting to realize that not only do I not have a plan past May 14th but that my life is going to change radically as to who I spend the majority of my time with.
- The above point makes me really sad, I love my friends.
- Sorry for all the bullet points, just felt like blogging all the random thoughts that are bouncing around right now.
- Off to work on the paper
- Sweet dreams bloggy friends.

Random Ramblings.
This is a real blog post in terms that I'm counting it towards my 90 for the year but other than that it is strictly what is floating around in my head currently.

My last first day of school...well sort of
So today classes started, my last first day of school, except I didn't have any class. My actual first day of school will be tomorrow when I go to scuba! I am so excited for scuba! There are three other chi o's who are also taking the class the first 8 weeks so we will all be certified to go scuba diving while were on a cruise for spring break. I have always wanted to go scuba diving and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to learn and then have a pretty much immediate chance to actually go somewhere cool and dive. As excited as I am for spring break I don't want it getting here too fast since that would mean half of the semester is over and I really don't want that. So far I'm loving being back in Fay and catching up with everyone again. Tomorrow is my welcome back to reality day where I have a half day at my internship and then class. I'm hoping that since its the first day the lab part of the class won't go the whole time so I'll be able to make it to US Pizza for a birthday party for some of the girls whose birthdays fell over the holidays. For the most part I'm ready to get back into some sort of schedule for the semester and have an idea of how my weeks will look. Happy Tuesday friends hope your week back to reality is going GREAT!

Dear Summer Please, Please, Please Hurry. Love Katie
Dear Summer, I need your golden rays of happiness to fill my life as soon as possible please. I need my days to consist of snow cones and work and working out and hanging out with my Conway loves. Thanks, Katie.
So that's my plea with summer, I am currently on the slow trek to the finish line of my junior year. I can't believe this year is almost over, that's sooo sooo crazy. I still feel like this should be the end of my freshman year. I am two classes, two projects, and three tests away from the finish line. In all honesty I really can't complain I don't have more than one thing due on any given day and if it wasn't for the enormity of my internship project hanging over my head I really wouldn't feel overwhelmed at all. Right now my days are pretty much just constantly spent in a state of trying to finish school work or sleeping. I'm pumped because I am done with both of my Monday, Wednesday, Friday classes so the only thing on my agenda tomorrow is work. I'm hoping that with the morning off I'll be able to go to the baseball game tomorrow night if it isn't FREEZING, which is exactly what it was all day today, unbelievably cold. Well, I guess I should get off of here so I can get back to the land of productivity. Love ya lots bloggy friends, picture post coming as soon as I do something fun enough to warrant documentation.

I've Got A Pocketful, Pocketful of Sunshine
Hello world! I have missed you dearly, the blogosphere has been a little low on my priority list this past week, which is so unfortunate since it was my new year's resolution to document 2010. Let's see what all I have been up to since we last chatted. When I first logged on tonight I thought it had been a week since I updated but I just realized that it has only been 4 days which makes me feel a little better. So let's see, on Friday my groups rolled out with some stellar presentations. We had Big Red come in to our class for Selling and Sales to assist with our presentation, which was a huge hit with our class and teacher. So after that Kara and I hit the road for Cway. Most of my friends were heading home for the weekend and since last weekend's trip seemed a little short since I got home so late I figured why not make a hair appointment and head home. We had a little jam session the whole way home and caught up on life in general which was great. It's so strange to go from living with someone everyday for two years to having to actually schedule hang out time. I got my haircut on Friday afternoon, which was definitely my happy moment for that day. I love my hairdresser, she rocks and I always love the way my hair looks afterwards. On Saturday, the whole family loaded up and went to the races in Hot Springs. Jake and I hadn't ever been before and it was a blast, I just love my family. Mom and I were talking about it later how we feel so sad for people who don't enjoy spending time with their families because we all just have so much fun together. I think part of the reason I love weekends at home has to go to the consistency of Sundays, I love waking up on Sundays knowing exactly where we will sit at church, knowing that I will almost always being running 5 minutes later than I should be, knowing Jacob will be mad because I wasn't ready on time, knowing that we will eat Cracker Barrel afterwards, and that I'll then get to come home and change into my bumming clothes. All in all, it was a wonderful weekend and my happy moment for today goes to coming back and being reunited with the "group." I just love my friends, they are just so stinkin' wonderful I don't know how I ever lived without them. I know this was a long post but one last thing: On Tuesday I have a very special treat for all my bloggy friends, Katie Schuett is going to guest blog!!!

Blur of a Post
So I never thought that finding time to blog would be this difficult. I wish I had some great excuse for it but in all honesty blogging just fell to the bottom of the importance pile. Here's an update on my life since we last talked. I went home late Friday night to surprise my mom for her birthday which was Saturday. It was great! She was super excited and I was thrilled to be home, even if it was just a flying trip. We went on Saturday and ate breakfast at Stoby's which pretty much made my day and then to top if off Mom and I went and got pedicures! I just love when my toes have a fresh shiny coat of polish. I went for a spring color so when I look down I can pretend its summer time. Sunday we all went to church and out to lunch at Cracker Barrell. I've pretty much spent the last two days just studying and working on group projects. This is kind of a quick thrown together post without pictures, but a little is better than nothing. I don't have anything school related tonight so I'll try to do a cute, fun post then. Oh and here's my list of happy moments for the past couple days, getting mail from my mom and dad (it had a sonic card in there!!), having a thank-you on the thank-you sheet this week (thanks Fargo!), getting to spend the two hour ride to Conway catching up with Meagan, and being able to make a haircut appointment on such short notice for this weekend! Talk to you soon (promise this time).

One Crazy Week....
Sorry, bloggy friends, I'm sure you thought I fell off the face of the earth, but I actually just got really busy and crazy stressed. This week has been so crazy busy but I feel like everything is finally falling into place. I think we have finally found a place to live, which is super exciting. I don't want to jinx it by saying anything for certain but we looked at another house today and I think its all under wraps. Trying to figure all of that out has just been so stinking daunting. I feel so so so so relieved to know I have somewhere to live next year and then not to mention I am so thrilled to be living with some of my besties. Its so funny to me that I am living with an athlete from Kansas, a Texas princess, and a crazy girl from Oklahoma. If you had told me my freshman year my three roommates for senior year would all have been from different states I would have laughed in your face. I just can't wait to move in with them I know we will have so many fun things next year. The next two weeks are going to be busy with school stuff but I want to go into it kind of ahead so I'm going to work on homework pretty much all day tomorrow. The Superbowl is this Sunday and I'm going to Schuey's house to watch the game which will be nice. I'm so ready to go home and since I can't do that Schuey's house is a close second. I hate that I've been falling off the bandwagon with blogging but I don't want to quit just because I skipped a few days. Let's see I can't remember exactly the last time I updated so instead of doing the update of all my happy moments per day I'm just going to skip to today's: Schuett dropped me off to class today and Kat picked me up and I just absolutely love not walking to class. I'm starting to get super tired and I think I might just wrap this up. I had lofty ambitions for this post but maybe a lofty post will be in tomorrow's future, probably quite likely since I'll need a study break. Goodnight!

School's Back (For Real Now)
Hey peeps! So today isn't going to be one of those cool new blog posts I talked about last time because its like 11 o'clock and I'm tired. So if you were hoping for that you'll just have to keep checking back :) OK so the past two days have been crazy, this week is the fourth week of school which means we are a quarter of the way into the semester and that tests are beginning. I have a test on Friday of this week and two group projects due. My happy moment for Monday came when I rolled over to turn off my alarm to get up and saw that I had an e-mail from my teacher saying that my class was cancelled, the extra hour of sleep was so nice, especially on a Monday morning. During my internship yesterday I actually got to start doing stuff and that was exciting because its hard to occupy yourself when you aren't really busy. Tomorrow Amy and I get to venture out of the office and pick up some donations which thrills me because I hate being cooped up in any one place for too long. Today while volunteering at the blood drive I felt just like one of those obnoxious people at the mall who is asking you to sample lotion or a straightener and you just really want to get to Chick Fila and Dillard's and don't give a darn about their products. Every time someone passed by me while I was working the door to the donation center they started walking farther on the other side of the hall and as soon as I spoke I could see it in their eyes that they were already creating their excuses. I didn't donate today but plan on going tomorrow after my first class, I'm hoping it goes well, donating always makes me a little antsy but I always feel really good about myself after I do it. I guess that's about all I have for today, I'm sorry that it wasn't the fun post I promised but I want the fun post to be really good so it takes a little extra time, you know? My little bit of happy moment today was getting to talk to my mom before I went to class. I was just so stressed last night before I went to bed and usually I don't talk to my mom till late on Tuesday's because I'm busy and so is she so it was nice to get her opinion on stuff. I'm such a homebody that I can't wait till I get a chance to go home and see my mom and dad.

Another Catch Up Post...

Hey bloggy friends, so I know I missed a few days again, but don't worry I'm not quitting blogging, things have just been so crazy between initiations and the blizzard. Fayetteville got so much snow, I don't know what the exact amount is but it was definitely the most snow I have ever seen in my life. Thursday night we went over to Naustin's for Nat's birthday. The night was definitely a success and we continued the birthday celebration last night at Grub's. We braved the snow and managed to make it to Grub's and it was a blast. Later Kat, Chan, Schuey, and I headed over to Sigma Chi. So to continue with the ramble of a post, Friday was pretty much just filled with initiations. The major happy moment of Friday came when I headed downstairs and discovered that we had Chicken Finger Friday even though school was cancelled, it's so funny how happy something so little can just brighten your day. I have rediscovered over this blizzard that I am still not really a fan of snow, I still think snow is just winter's cheap imitation of sand. We went sledding on Friday and I have to admit that it was fun for a while but literally after like an hour I was so done with the cold. My hands felt like icicles and I literally thought I was a human Popsicle. My despise for the slick, cold, wet white stuff outside is a mutual feeling because not a single other person on Friday fell walking anywhere other than me. I busted it trying to walk back, at which point I decided I was done with the snow. OK, so here's a new thought I'm getting kind of tired of the whole just listing my day's events and while I'll more than likely still do that the other night I made a list of fun blog topics so I'm hoping to use some of those for new fun blog posts. My happy moment for today was simply it still being the weekend, I LOVE three day weekends they give you so much more time to do everything. Like if it hadn't been a three day weekend I would never have gotten my laundry done or had time to be a bum and finish my homework. I'm hoping that by tomorrow the snowy mess will be gone enough that I can get back into a routine, I'm definitely missing working out and being able to get out and about as I please. Oh and I almost forgot my other happy moment is that I have NEW PICTURES to put up with today's post. Today's picture is one of me, Schuett, and the birthday girl. Talk to you tomorrow (hopefully) blog friends.

Ok, So Third Time's A Charm
So this is my third day in a row to try and update the blog, but since it seems as if the internet hates me. So I'm hoping that this one will actually update. Since I haven't talked to all my bloggy friends in a while I actually have a little bit to update on. Let's see Monday was busy but great, I had my second day at my internship and I have an office. I was so excited to get an office, I just figured I'd be shoved in some conference room but nope I have my own office with a chair and a desk and a computer, I was so excited. And since we already are talking about AAO today I got to set up my e-mail account and voicemail so that was pretty exciting. This week has been packed between interning and all the stuff leading up to initiation. I am so excited for the little owls to finally get initiated!! The weather men are calling for ice and snow tomorrow so I guess we will find out if they are actually right or not. I know this isn't really much of a quality post but it's going to have to do since I still need to shower. My happy moment for Monday was having a ride to my second class so I didn't have to walk in the super cold grossness. My happy moment for Tuesday was getting out of my last class super early. And my happy moment for today was finding someone to go workout with me at like 9:30 tonight, thanks Schuey!! Goodnight bloggy friends!

Sunday Funday

Whoops, I almost forgot to update today. Today was such a busy day I had literally already turned off my light before I remembered that I wanted to go ahead and update. So currently I'm keeping Katie Schuett company in her fabulous closet while she works on stuff for initiation week and I update the blog. Today, Meagan, Abbi, and I went to church and the sermon was so good. It talked about showing God's love to one another and loving people even when the natural response isn't to love. So this week's challenge is to try and apply that to my life. After church we decided to venture to Springdale and eat some Cracker Barrel. It was such a nice normal thing to do, since when I'm home we go to Cracker Barrel almost every Sunday after church. After that we ran a few errands around town until I had to be back at Chi O for a meeting. The meeting went super well and I'm really excited about my position even if learning all of what I have to do was kind of overwhelming at first. After my fun little training session I had a few things to finish up before the week starts. I know this week will be crazy busy but that will be good because I'm way excited for the weekend. This weekend Nat turns 21 so we're all going out to dinner and stuff for her birthday and that should definitely be a good time. This is my last week of school that isn't completely filled with tests and projects so I'm hoping to be able to get a little ahead and prepped for the rest of the semester. Today's happy moment was putting up all my clean clothes, I love starting the week with everything clean and put in its place, I just can't help it I'm an organizational nerd. Today's random picture is from when Katie and I accidentally matched. I had to put it up because we matched again today, I guess it's just a Katie thing, even if she is a fake Katie. Sweet dreams blog friends.

Happy Friday Friends
Hey, blog friends! It's Friday again, I only had one class today since that other one got cancelled. After class today Nat and I went to the HPER and went ahead and knocked out our workouts for the day. After that I hit up Chicken Finger and chatted it up with some people. This afternoon Chan, Kat, and I went to the mall and I found some black flats to wear to my internship and even better I got them half off!! I love finding things on sale. Right now I'm just killing some time before my friends get back from whatever they are doing. My weekend plans are pretty low key right now I think we are going to go over to Nic and Austin's tonight and cook some dinner, which should be fun and interesting. Well, I guess I didn't have a lot to say today but I wanted to go ahead and get a post in before I got too busy tonight! My happy moment for today was finding a super cute pair of black flats super fast and on SALE!! Today's picture is from homecoming last fall and I pretty much just added it for two reasons: 1. I like it and 2. Posts with pictures are cuter. So, I hope everyone has a fun and safe Friday night!

Rain, Rain Go Away
So my friends' have pretty much made it their new life missions to diss on the blog, but don't worry because that's not going to slow me down. Tuesday/Thursdays are my busy school days but luckily most of my interesting classes fall on these days. Today, I finally turned in my application to get my internship accredited for next fall so hopefully I will hear something back from the coordinator in the near future. This week has flown by since it was a short week I could hardly believe that it was already Thursday. Thursday's are one of my favorite days because we have our house Bible study on Thursdays. Today's Bible study was over conflict and how to handle it, why it can be good, and when to avoid it. It was a good study since I feel like this time of year when everyone is getting adjusted to being together all the time can be tough. Tomorrow my second class got cancelled so after my 8:30 class I am free which makes me feel like I am getting a longer weekend. I just love when classes get cancelled I feel like it rarely happens so when it does I get so excited. Today's happy moment was when Sgibs called and said she could come and pick me up from my last class, today was just a cold and rainy and pretty much gross day so I was pretty excited for a chance to ride in her new car and super excited not to have to walk all the way back in the yucky weather. Since I am pretty sure a post becomes a million times more interesting when it includes a picture today's random picture is one of me and Sgibs on Bid Day last semester. Don't you think pictures with balloons and sunglasses just make a rainy day a whole lot better? I do. Plus she picked me up so I didn't have to walk in the rain so that just adds a little extra cheer to it :)

Saturday, WooHoo
Hey bloggy friends! So, let's see what I have to chat about today. This blogging everyday is more difficult than I first imagined it would be, but I'm really determined to try and do it everyday this year so I can have a whole record of 2010. So for starters me and Sgibs got to spin half an hour early and still didn't get bikes because we didn't realize we should go into the room before the class before it was over. But, on the bright side since we didn't get to participate the teacher gave us each some free passes to attend spin classes in the future, so YAY for that. After our lack of spin classes we went and saw The Lovely Bones and it was super scary. I've read the book and the book was kind of scary at parts but the movie was super intense. Even though I felt like my heart was going to beat out of my chest at certain points the movie was still really good in capturing the book as a whole. Today was spent conquering some errands and finishing decorating my bed. Tonight's another low key night, I just still don't feel 100% and start to feel pretty crummy at night so I decided I probably wouldn't be very much fun if I went out. Right now me and sgibs are watching a movie that I can't remember the name of but it's super funny. I am starting to get so pumped about this semester. My classes are so so so much better than last semester and I can't wait to start my internship not to mention spring break in Panama, turning 21, and all the functions and nights out coming up! So stinking exciting! I promise that there will be more interesting posts coming up, ha. Today's happy moment goes to changing out the frames in my room with all the pictures I printed over Christmas break. Speaking of pictures that make me smile here's one of Rocky in his Christmas pajamas. I miss my puppy :( Well, I hope all of you are out having crazy fun Saturday nights and a great 3 day weekend.

Summer Please Hurry, Love Katie

Hey world! Today's was one of those wonderfully normal days. You know the days where you just wake up and are in a good mood and it just keeps going throughout the day. I woke up before my alarm which always makes me happy and my classes seem super interesting and even though the HPER was super busy I got a machine super fast and then I managed to buy all my books used. I just love days where all the little things line up. So today while I was writing down all the stuff from my syllabus I realized that my BIRTHDAY is in 66 days (if I counted right) which also means spring break is in 66 days!!! We are going to Panama City for spring break, but I prefer to refer to it as we are going to the beach for my BIRTHDAY!! I'm so excited, it's going to be so much fun. What could be more fun than a week on the beach! I cannot wait! Yay, yay, yay! Today's pic, is from Labor Day weekend and was as close to a summer of a picture that I could find. So today's little bit of happy moment was knowing people in all of my classes. So, yes, I know this sounds lamer than lame but I hate when I don't know anyone on the first day of school.

A Mix Match Post
So I survived the first day back to classes and luckily I actually know lots of people in both of my classes today. AND on a super happy note it wasn't freeze your booty off cold outside today, YAY!!! Today, Westy, Schuett, Dani, and I went to a class called FIT at the HPER that was awesome. I expected the class to be a good workout but I didn't expect it to be as intense as it was. We ran stairs, we lunged, we jumped, and we definitely got our workouts in. Everyone has been making fun of me for my new love of blogging but I'm going to ignore those people because I like the idea of having a record of my year. I understand that I could do the same thing by keeping a journal but the idea of writing in a notebook is just too daunting for me. I know today's post was just a hodge/podge but I'm really trying to keep up with the updating everyday. My happy moment for the day was when I got a free diet coke while I was in the union today. It was just a simple little thing but it made me smile. :) Sorry there isn't a new picture to go with today's post. Goodnight friends.

Back to Reality
Hey friends! So this semester is going to start on Monday, WOW! I knew break was ending but for some reason the idea of school starting didn't really click with me. Luckily I am so excited about my classes and schedule this semester. All of my classes have to do with my major or minor and most importantly I am DONE, DONE, DONE with Spanish. I have never struggled as much with a subject as I did with Spanish. That subject just never clicked for me not to mention the three semesters I had it the class started at 7:30 am. I'm a morning person but 7:30 is just too early to be in class, especially Spanish class. Additionally, this semester I have the opportunity to intern with Arkansas Athlete Outreach and I am so excited to actually see some of the things I've been learning in a "real world" setting. Even though I am pumped about my classes and internship its still going to take a little while to get back into a routine since I've definitely been on vacation for the past month. I had two little bit of happy moments today. One was running into two friends from school today while shopping in Little Rock. I always get really excited whenever I run into people from school outside Fayetteville! The other little bit of happy moment has to be that the back part of Target looks like Sam's right now which combines my love of mass quantity and Target together and that's a whole lot of happy right there. I guess I had better get off the computer and maybe attempt to tackle a little more packing. The pic I posted shows some of my favorite "Fayetteville" friends :) and a large part in my motivation for packing.
